Specialist wins over generalist. We build AI-powered websites for two specific categories of businesses in Sonoma County: construction trades (contractors) and home services pros. The playbook is different enough between the two that we split them out — but the underlying system is the same.
Construction trades, remodelers, handymen, and anyone who builds, repairs, or installs things. The core of our client base and the playbook we’ve built around.
Businesses that show up at a homeowner’s property to perform a service — not construction, but everything adjacent. Often recurring-revenue businesses with different marketing mechanics.
Generalist agencies pitch the same website template to everyone — yoga studios, lawyers, restaurants, contractors — with a different hero image swapped in. That template might look polished but it never ranks for contractor search patterns and never converts like a site that was purpose-built for the trade.
Contractor sites need specific things: service pages, location pages, trust signals like license/insurance info, click-to-call above the fold, mobile-first speed, schema markup Google actually uses to rank local trades. Home services sites need slightly different things: booking integration, recurring-service reminders, upsell flows, review automation tuned for high customer volume. We build both, specifically.
We don’t build for restaurants, lawyers, healthcare, real estate, SaaS companies, or e-commerce brands. Not because they’re bad businesses — just because building for them is a different craft and we’re not the right shop. Plenty of generalist agencies serve those markets.
Our focus means every hour we spend goes into improving our contractor and home services playbook. That specialization is what lets us ship better work, faster, than a generalist could.
