Climb the Google map pack on autopilot.

Reviews are the #1 factor in Google’s local map pack ranking. Most contractors have 10–50 reviews while their best competitors have 200+. The difference isn’t quality of work — it’s that they actually ask. Automated review requests text every completed job a one-tap Google review link, personalized to the customer and the work you just did. Negative feedback gets routed privately first.

Why this is the highest-ROI thing you can automate

Google’s local map pack — those three businesses that show up at the top of search with the map — sends contractors a massive share of their leads. According to BrightLocal’s annual local consumer survey, 87% of homeowners check reviews before hiring a contractor, and 73% won’t even consider a business with fewer than 10 reviews. Once you cross 50 reviews and stay above 4.5 stars, your map pack appearance multiplies.

The math is brutal but simple: if you’ve been in business for 10 years and have 12 reviews, you’ve done thousands of jobs and asked maybe 50 customers. That conversion rate is 1%. With automated review requests, you’ll ask every completed job — and your conversion rate climbs to 15–25% because the ask happens at the moment they’re happiest (job just finished, you just did great work) and it’s one tap to leave the review.

How the flow works

You mark a job complete (in your CRM, via reply to a text from us, or by checking a box in our dashboard). The automation kicks off:

Step 1 Personalized text sent to customer with one-tap Google review link.
Step 2 Customer taps the link.
If happy Lands on your Google review page. They write the review publicly.
If unhappy Routes to a private feedback form first. You see it before Google does.
Step 3a Happy customer gets a thank-you text. Conversion tracked.
Step 3b Unhappy customer gets a personal call from you to fix the issue. You earn the right to ask for a public review later (or not).

What gets automated

What about review responses?

Your Lead Machine plan also includes review response automation — we draft personalized replies to every new Google review (good or bad) for you to approve and post. This signals to both Google and future customers that you actually engage with feedback — another small ranking factor that compounds.

The flywheel: More reviews → higher map pack ranking → more inbound calls → more AI-captured intakes → more completed jobs → more reviews. Once it’s spinning, it compounds for free every month. Most contractors see their review count double in the first 90 days.

FAQs

Doesn’t Google’s policy ban this?

No. Google explicitly encourages businesses to ask for reviews from real customers. What’s banned is incentivizing reviews (offering discounts in exchange) or filtering out negative feedback in a way that hides it from Google. Our flow doesn’t do either — the negative-feedback gate just gives you the chance to address the issue first; if the customer wants to leave a public negative review they still can.

What if I get a bad review anyway?

You will, occasionally — everyone does. The system includes guided response templates for negative reviews that show prospective customers you handle problems professionally. A thoughtful response to a 2-star review can actually convert more than a generic 5-star one.

Can I customize who gets asked?

Yes. By default we ask every completed job, but you can exclude certain customers (the difficult one you’d rather not hear from again) or only target specific service types.

How fast will I see new reviews?

Typically within the first week of a system going live. Most contractors see their review count double in the first 90 days because they were sitting on years of customers who never got asked.
