Tyler Digital Co (“Tyler Digital,” “we,” “us”) is a sole-proprietor web design and marketing agency operated by Chad Tyler, based in Santa Rosa, California. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect from visitors to tylerdigitalco.com, how we use it, and your rights under California and US law.

1. What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact details when you fill out a form, take the Lead Leak quiz, or request an audit: name, business name, email, phone number, website URL, and any free-text answers you provide.
- Messages you send us via chat, SMS, email, or phone: the content of the conversation.
- Payment information if you become a paying client: handled by third-party payment processors (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring URL, general location (city-level), browser type, device type.
- Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies for site function, plus analytics cookies if you consent (see Cookies section below).
- Chatbot session data: conversations with our AI chat widget are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and may be logged on our server for quality and safety purposes.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and deliver free audits you request.
- To send you proposals, follow-ups, and client communications related to services you've inquired about.
- To improve our website, content, and services based on aggregate usage patterns.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, contracts, subpoenas).

3. Who we share your information with
We share data only with third-party service providers who help us run our business, under contract and to the extent necessary. Categories include:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Netlify (website hosting), Cloudflare (if applicable, for security).
- Communication and productivity: Google Workspace (email, calendar), Calendly (scheduling).
- Messaging: Quo (SMS sending and receiving), Twilio (if used for phone carrier routing).
- Analytics: Google Analytics or similar (aggregated, non-identifying data only).
- AI services: Anthropic (Claude API, powers our chatbot), OpenAI (if used for analysis).
- Payment processing: Stripe.
- Legal requirements: we may share information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
4. SMS messages and opt-out
Tyler Digital Co uses SMS for business-to-business outreach to locally-listed contractors and service businesses in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties, California. Numbers are sourced from publicly-listed business directories (Google Maps, business websites, licensed public records).
If you receive a text from Tyler Digital Co and don't want to receive further messages, reply with STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, END, or CANCEL. Your number will be removed from our outreach immediately and permanently. No additional confirmation message will be sent.
Message frequency is typically low: initial outreach plus occasional follow-ups if you engage. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies, limited to:
- Essential cookies: required for basic site function (remembering your session, form submissions). These are always active.
- Analytics cookies: only if you consent, we use Google Analytics (or equivalent) to understand aggregate site traffic. No personal identifiers are shared with Google.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies may break parts of the site.
6. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described. Specifically:
- Inquiry data (quiz responses, audit requests): kept for up to 24 months unless you become a client or request earlier deletion.
- Client records: kept for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years after (tax and legal requirements).
- SMS opt-out list: kept permanently to honor your opt-out.
- Analytics data: aggregated and kept per Google Analytics defaults.
7. Your rights under California law (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information we collect, use, and share.
- Request deletion of personal information we've collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect data defined as “sensitive” under CPRA).
- Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

8. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords and payment data are never stored in plain text on our servers. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve or as laws change. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For significant changes affecting clients, we'll also notify you directly.
